Last Dinosaurs is an indie rock band from Brisbane, Australia, that was founded in 2007. The group comprises Sean Caskey, Lachlan Caskey, Danjuro Koyama, and Michael Sloane. Interestingly, Koyama and the Caskey brothers are all of Japanese descent, which has given them a unique perspective and relationship with Japan.

 

As a result, the band frequently tours and makes visits to Japan, where they have a devoted following. Last Dinosaurs' music is characterized by its upbeat and catchy melodies, which draw inspiration from 80s and 90s indie and alternative rock, as well as elements of dance and funk. Some of their most well-known songs include "Zoom," "Apollo," and "Andy."
